Christmas is a great time of year. Our time full of family, friends, toys, but most importantly we spend time with our savior. Our savior lived, died, and lives again for us. He will always be for us. During this Christmas season we remember especially remember all that he has done for us in being our wonderful redeemer. Christ was constantly serving, healing, ministering, blessing, and touching others. We too should follow Christ’s example and love those whom we associate with.
I believe that the Lord purposely let us celebrate Christmas near the end of the year for two reasons. The first reason is so that we can reflect on how well we have remembered Christ and tried to follow him in the past year. The second reason is so that we can determine to do better in the following year. Having our thoughts centered in Christ during Christmas is reflected in the kinds of goals we set for the new year. Christ helps us to know were we need improvement and knowing this helps us to know Christs will for us. Let us all think more of Christ this Christmas season and always.
